I am a PhD student since 2003 in the Knowledge and Database Systems Laboratory, school of ECE, in the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, supervised by Professor Timos Sellis. I am working in the areas of data management and information systems. My current research interests include context aware systems and data management, evolution of information systems, data caching and replacement for web content, data warehouses and data indexing.
As a software engineer, I specialize in the areas of requirement analysis, design and development of large information systems. I believe that the future of information management lies in the web, so my focus during the last years has been on the process of design, development and deployment of web information systems.
For some strange reason, I still enjoy giving lectures on seminars (even though the ROI is pretty low compared to my other activities), so if you are interested, don't hesitate to contact me!
